PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the tap signal tapping the output signal from a light wave guide almost independent of polarization and wavelength. SOLUTION: A light integration device tapping the signal output is provided with a tap 10 almost independent of wavelength and polarization. The light device is provided with the first tap means constituted of the first wave guide 12 arranged in the connected relation to the second wave guide 14 and conveying the input signal S to provide the crossed-output transmission signal T1 . The crossed-output transmission signal T1 is independent of polarization and wavelength. The light device is also provided with the second tap means including the third light wave guide 18 connected to the second wave guide 14 conveying the crossed-output transmission signal T1 and arranged in series with it to provide the bar-like output transmission signal T2 . The bar-like output transmission signal T2 has the dependency opposite to that of the crossed-output transmission signal T1 for the wave guide connection, the dependency on wavelength and polarization of the crossed-output transmission signal T1 is compensated, and the whole tap transmission output signal independent of polarization and wavelength is uniformly provided for both transmission signals T1 , T2 . |
