PURPOSE: To provide a power source device capable of correctly performing control without enlarging a control transformer. CONSTITUTION: Electric field effect transistors Q1 and Q2 are alternately turned on and off to be converted into A.C. to light fluorescent lamps FL1-FLn. In oscillating the transistors Q1 and Q2, voltage is induced in output coils Tr 21 and Tr 22 to control the oscillation frequency of the transistors Q1 and Q2 by utilizing the magnetic flux saturation of a control transformer Tr based on an electric current detected by detecting coils Tr11-Tr1n. The base of a transistor Q3 is controlled by a control circuit 4 to change the apparent resistant values of the collector and emitter of the transistor Q3, and the time of the magnetic flux saturation is changed to change the oscillation frequency of an inverter circuit 3 to control output. |
