PURPOSE: To produce a color filter to be used for a liquid crystal display device with high productivity. CONSTITUTION: A color filter is formed on the surface of a substrate 100 comprising a light-transmissivity resin film by using printing cylinders 101-103 to print filters of specified colors on the surface of the resin and pressing cylinders 104-106. By preparing printing cylinders 101-103 and pressing cylinders 104-106 according to the colors RGB, color filters of three primary colors can be continuously obtd.
