This envelope for piping consists of two shells (3,4) in a rigid material of which one (3) contains or receives the attachment (6,15 to 19) allowing its support in relation to the piping (2) and/or a wall (5) situated in proximity to the piping (2). Attachments are provided (10,12) for assembling it to the other shell (4) and the other shell (4) also contains complementary attachments for assembling it to the first shell (3). The two shells (3,4) are able to be assembled one to the other according to an assembly plane generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the conduit (2).
