The ring binder (1,1') has a six or eight sided cover (10) comprising at least one front sheet (11), one first rear sheet (12) and one second rear sheet (13). The free end (17) of the cover hangs in the ring (19) of the ring binder. The back (14) is provided between the front sheet and the first rear seat. The back is limited by two parallel first groove lines (15,16). The first rear sheet has another parallel groove line (18) in addition to the first groove lines. The second rear sheet is adhered at least partly to the surface of the first rear sheet as far as the additional groove line.
