PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of attaching a label, and prevent the deterioration of the light dispersion of a final product due to the relatively slight mismatch of label on a substrate. SOLUTION: This device is an improved illumination LCD with PCB 10. This PCB 10 has a liquid crystal display mounted thereon, together with at least one light source, a light guide member laid between the liquid crystal display and a substrate for dispersing light from the light source to a liquid crystal display zone, and light attenuation means 18 and 20 laid between the light guide member and the substrate and formed to have zone patterns of different optical reflectance for reducing the intensity of light arriving at a plurality of parts of the liquid crystal display nearest the light source. This improvement is to print a light attenuation pattern directly on the substrate and as a result, pattern adding efficiency and accuracy are improved. In this case, the light attenuation pattern may include an element formed as part of a normal PCB production process. |
