<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably wipe a cord lug cut from the outer surface of a cutting blade by providing a wiper assembly on a connector cording station. SOLUTION: A cutting knife assembly 220 to be raised and lowered and a wiper assembly 250 are provided on a connector cording station 200. The assembly 220 to perform the vertical reciprocating motion is lowered, and a cord lug 306 of a connector element 300 is cut by the end 236 of a cutting blade 221 through a cutting anvil 228. When the assembly 220 is raised, the lug 306 stuck to the blade 221 is reliably wiped from the blade 221 to a disposal chamber 232 by a wiper arm of a wiper member 254 of copper material softer than the blade 221 of the assembly 250.</p> |
