PURPOSE: To provide a highly reliable inverter unit in which the power factor is enhanced by reducing unnecessary harmonic current as much as possible through simple circuitry without lowering the output from a rectifier circuit. CONSTITUTION: In an inverter unit wherein the output from an AC power supply AC is fed through a rectifier circuit D1 to an inverter 1 for feeding power to a load, a circuit K for suppressing the harmonic components in the output current from the rectifier circuit D1 and a circuit J for sustaining the output voltage from the rectifier circuit D1 at a predetermined level or above are provided between the rectifier circuit D1 and the inverter 1. |
