PURPOSE: To allow a terminal equipment of a talker not to hear its own voice. CONSTITUTION: Plural video conference terminal equipments 10, 20, 30 are connected to a multi-point controller 4 and a reception section 2 receives video data and audio data from all video conference terminal equipments. Then an identification section 1 discriminates whether or not voice level information of voice data is a prescribed value to identify a terminal equipment 10 in which a talker makes utterance by using a microphone of a headset or the like. Thus, the video data and the voice data from the terminal equipment 10 are selected and data to be sent to each video conference terminal equipment are generated. The data are sent to each video conference terminal equipment. In this case, a video image picked up by the terminal equipment 10 at which a talker is resident is displayed to terminal equipments 20, 30 other than the terminal equipment where the talker is resident and the voice picked up is outputted from a headset or the like. On the other hand, the video image picked up by the terminal equipment 10 where the talker is resident is displayed to the terminal equipment 10 but no voice data are outputted. |
