The device has a luminous or illuminated object (20) placed between two parallel panels (10, 10') of a light-reflective material. At least one of the panels is partially transparent, being made from a rigid plate (11) with at least one layer (12) of a semi-reflective and semi-transparent material covering it, made from PET or polyester charged or coated with aluminium. The rigid plate (11) can be of acrylic glass or Plexiglass (RTM). The object (20) can be made from a fluorescent or phosphorescent material, and is illuminated by a light source which is positioned sideways.
