A.C. UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY

PURPOSE: To lighten the burden imposed on a guidance unit in transmission/ reception and provide reliable transmission/reception among a converter unit, an inverter unit and the guidance unit constituting an a.c. uninterruptible power supply. CONSTITUTION: Each of a converter unit 1, an inverter unit 2 and a guidance unit 3 is provided with a data storing means that stores a plurality of types of data; a computer for processing such data; a data transmitting means; and a data receiving means. These units are connected with one another in a loop. As a result the load of data processing required for data transmission is shared by the units' computers, which lightens the burden imposed on the guidance unit in data processing. This shortens time taken by the guidance unit's computer to transmit or receive data, and enables prompt action to crepe with a power interruption or fault.
