<p>PURPOSE: To allow switching between lines in which section switching functions and path switching functions are composited with simple hardware and which have arbitrary specifications by specifying the configuration of a switching device itself. CONSTITUTION: Fault information in the device, which first and second intra- device fault monitor parts 131a and 131b detect, is transferred to first and second fault state transmission parts 132a and 132b. Switching triggers are generated in the parts 132a and 132b, and they are transmitted to CPU 1. Since CPU 1 mainly controls switching, the switching control of respective selection parts does not contradict. Since switching information transmitted from a secondary-side line is extracted by a second switching part 12 and is directly inputted to CPU 1, and switching information transmitted from a primary-side line is extracted by a first switching part 11 and is directly inputted to CPU 2, the configuration of a switching control part 13 can be made identical in spite of the specification of the primary-side line and that of the secondary-side line.</p> |
