The multiplexer-demultiplexer includes the ends of a number of input/output optical lines (22) and one end of a transmission line (23). These are associated with a diffraction grating which has a diffraction plane, with an optical system ensuring the optical conjugation of the ends of the input/output lines with the end of the transmission line. The ends of the input/output lines are aligned along a straight line parallel to the diffraction plane, and the end of the transmission line is shifted transversely w.r.t. this straight line. While the input/output lines are equidistant from each other, the transmission line is displaced from them by a greater distance. |
