PURPOSE: To smoothly perform Roman character/Chinese character (KANJI) conversion by dealing with the mutation of the four tones peculiar for Chinese concerning the word processor for Chinese to perform the conversion from Roman characters to KANJI. CONSTITUTION: When inputting KANJI while using Roman characters by respectively inclining a freely inclining four-tone mutation key 8' dedicated to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th tones with the fingers of a left hand (right hand) in a four-tone mutation key zone adjacent to a Roman character key group, the four-tone mutation of tones is surely applied by inclining the four-tone mutation key together, and the number of converted KANJI to be lined up is reduced as much as possible so that efficiency for picking up proper KANJI can be improved. The four-tone mutation is applied at the time of conversion from Roman characters to KANJI corresponding to the four-tone mutation peculiar for Chinese, proper conversion can be provided, the efficiency of word processor operation in Chinese is improved and the degree of skill can be improved. Besides, the degree of additionally providing the four-tone mutation key group at an adapter can be simplified as well, cost can be reduced, and a learning function can be improved as well. |
