PURPOSE: To provide a highly accurate order entry method easily operable by anyone for bar code inputting orders from customers from a handy terminal. CONSTITUTION: This order entry method uses the handy terminal provided with a bar code reader, a display device and a storage device. All order information required for order entry is turned to bar codes and the correspondence relation of the bar codes and the order information is stored in the storage device beforehand. The orders are bar code inputted from the bar code reader, the order information corresponding to the bar code is read from the storage device and displayed at the display device, all the orders are obtained by repeating that and the orders are transmitted to a host computer. |
