PURPOSE: To prevent reverse transmission of an undesired signal due to reflection of a BPF in the subscriber terminator. CONSTITUTION: A signal from a hub is branched into control data and a broadcast signal at a synthesizer/branching device 30 in a subscriber terminator. The broadcast signal is amplified by an amplifier 31 and distributed into 1/4 by a distributer 32 and fed to BPFs 33-36 via isolators 42-45. Only frequency components of BS-1, 5, 9, 13 for each channel only pass through each BPF and synthesized with control data by synthesizers/branching devices 37-40 and the resulting data are fed to each CATV terminal equipment. On the other hand, the frequency components other than those at pass band are reflected at an input terminal of each BPF and absorbed by each isolator to prevent reverse transmission to the distributer 32. |
