PURPOSE: To provide a composite electric vehicle whose environmental pollution is lowered, whose energy efficiency is enhanced and which can be applied also to a small vehicle by a method wherein a prime mover and a power generation means are connected to a first wheel driving shaft via a clutch means, a power generation means and a drive means are connected to a second wheel driving shaft and a control means for these means is arranged and installed. CONSTITUTION: A unit which is composed of an engine 10 and of a first motor generator 11 and a second motor generator 12 are arranged and installed separately so as to be divided into the front and the rear of a vehicle. Thereby, auxiliary machines such as a clutch mechanism 17 and the like can be mounted easily on the vehicle, the weight of the vehicle is distributed satisfactorily, and the running stability of the vehicle is enhanced. As a result, when the clutch mechanism 17, the prime mover 10, the power generation means 11, the power generation means 12 and a drive means 24 are combined so as to be controlled, a variety of operations can be performed. As a result, it is possible to obtain a composite electric vehicle whose environmental pollution is lowered, whose energy efficiency is enhanced and which can be applied also to a small vehicle. |
