PURPOSE: To provide a ultrasonic actuator in which the operation is stabilized while increasing the thrust. CONSTITUTION: The ultrasonic actuator comprises a substantially rectangular prism resonator 2, and two electromechanical conversion elements secured wherein high frequency voltages of different phase are applied to the electromechanical conversion elements to generate standing wave elliptical oscillation for driving a driven body 14 abutting against the resonator 2. A plurality of ultrasonic actuators are arranged in same direction. |
