PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the manufacture of a separator having its superior rigidity by bonding first and second layers with each other in a planar contact shape and an orientation direction of the first layer being set to a certain angle with respect to that of the second layer. SOLUTION: A crossing layer station 22 employs a micro-porous membrane wound from at least two rolls 18a obtained from a slit/winding station and is supplied so that deviation of one angle of the membrane is reversed with respect to that of the other membrane. However, if desired, it is required that only one of the membranes wound at the crossing station 22 have an orientation with deviation at a certain angle with respect to a lengthwise direction of the membrane, but the other membrane may have an orientation parallel to a longer axis of the membrane. In any case, the micro-porous membrane is wound from respective roll 18a based on a relationship in this planar internal in order to guarantee that angle deviation is established between the two layers. |
