PURPOSE: To provide a stripped-waste removal device by which a stripped waste stuck to a cutting edge until the cutting edge is opened can be removed surely. CONSTITUTION: A terminal compression-bonding apparatus 1 comprises an electric wire stripping means 10 and a terminal compression-bonding means 20, and a stripped-waste removal device 30 which removes a stripped waste (a) from an electric wire A which has been stripped by the electric wire stripping means 10 is added. The stripped-waste removal device 30 is constituted of an air blowing device 31 which is provided with a blowoff port 32 at the upper part of a stripping position between the electric wire stripping means 10 and the terminal compression-bonding means 20, of a suction device 34 which is provided with an intake port 35 at the lower-part side of the stripping position and of an air ionization device 37 which ionizes the air blown off by the air blowing device 31. The stripped waste (a) which is stuck to a cutting edge 13 closed in the stripping position can be sucked by a strong air current formed in a part up to the intake port 35 from the blowoff port 32. |
