PURPOSE: To provide a mute circuit especially with less element number and less current consumption. CONSTITUTION: This circuit is provided with a gain control amplifier 8 for performing the amplitude limitation of the AC part of input signals corresponding to mute signals, a DC control circuit 10 for performing the level control of the DC part of the input signals corresponding to the mute signals, a signal line 11 for transmitting the input signals for which the amplitude limitation of the AC part and the level control of the DC part are performed by the gain control amplifier and the DC control circuit, a resistor 12 serially connected to the signal line and a mute means 13 connected parallelly to the signal line and conducted corresponding to the mute signals for making the output current flow to the resistor and muting the input signals. |
