PURPOSE: To suppress the emphasis or decline of luminance and to suppress the occurrence of a false out line by replacing a this time value with a pre scribed data even when figure positions of most significant bits taking light emission logical values of the this time value and the last time value of the pixel data are changed. CONSTITUTION: A synchronizing separator circuit 5 extracts horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals from a composite video signal to supply them to a timing pulse generation circuit 6. An A/D converter 3 converts respective R video signal, G video signal and B video signal to image data signals consisting of corresponding unit pixel data every one pixel synchronously with a timing pulse supplied from the timing pulse generation circuit 6 to supply them to a data correction circuit 7. The data correction circuit 7 adds or subtracts the correction data to or from the this time value and suppresses a false outline occurrence phenomenon when it discriminates that the figure positions of the most significant bits taking the light emission logical values in respective this time value of the unit pixel data corresponding to the same pixel and the preceding time value at least one frame period before are different from each other. |
