<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image forming method by which a stable image free from image defects such as fog and black spots can be formed over a long period of time without causing offsetting phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: In this image forming method including a developing process in which an electrostatic latent image on a photoreceptor is developed with a developer, the photoreceptor is an org. photoreceptor with a protective layer contg. fine particles on the surface and a toner forming the developer consists essentially of a bonding resin, a colorant and a releasing agent made of polyolefin. The ratio (Mmax /Mp) of the elution start mol.wt. Mmax (expressed in terms of PP) of the polyolefin to the peak mol.wt. Mp (expressed in terms of PP) by GPC is 9-20 and the elution start mol.wt. Mmax is 50,000-120,000.</p> |
