<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the efficiency of information analysis by increasing the analyzing speed by providing a unit which performs computer analysis on compressed information and executing the analysis on the compressed data. SOLUTION: A device for recording Holter ECG signals provided with electrodes 2 stuck to the skin of a patient 4 is carried by the patient while the device records the ECG signals. The signals detected by means of the electrodes 2 are digitized by means of an A/D converter 8 after the signals are filtrated through a filter and amplified by means of an amplifier 6. The digitized signals are compressed by using a computer 10 and the compressed information is stored in an appropriate medium, such as the cassette tape 14 through a unit 12. In a reproducing and analyzing device, the recorded information is down-loaded into a working memory 28 from the tape 14 and a computer 30 automatically executes a preliminary analysis on the compressed information.</p> |
