<p>PURPOSE: To provide the information collecting method and device which can hold collected information in consideration of redundancy and enable information collection that is efficient for a user. CONSTITUTION: A collected information holding part 102 holds the information which is already collected in a data base, etc. Further, a new information holding part 101 holds new information that is newly collected in a data base, etc. Then a redundancy decision part 103 judges whether or not the new information held by the new information holding part 101 has redundancy with some of the collected information held by the collected information holding part 102. An update processing part 104 controls the update of the collected information holding part 102 with the new information according to the judgement result. For example, when the new information has the redundance, the new information is discarded and not added to the collected information holding part 102.</p> |
