<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication network called as a bidirectional mesh network, MSN or a bidirectional MSN (bi-MSN). SOLUTION: Plural first communication loops (horizontal loops) constituted of plural nodes each of which is mutually connected by a bidirectional link are included in the bidirectional MSN 202. Furthermore, plural second communication loops (vertical loops) constituted of plural nodes each of which is mutually connected by the bidirectional link are included in the bidirecional MSN 202. Each of the second communication loops is connected with each of the first communication loops at a position in common with both of the second and the first communication loops. A switch to transfer packets from the first communication loops to the second communication loops or vice versa as a function of a destination address included in these packets is included in the common node (and in fact, each node in the bidirectional MSN).</p> |
