PURPOSE: To reduce the decrease in the sintering speed and to prevent the decrease in the yield by supplying sintering exhaust gas from a plurality of divided circulation gas hoods, supplying the air from an opening above a pallet at the interval of the hoods, and sintering it. CONSTITUTION: A wind box 9 is divided to a feeding side and a discharging side, the exhaust gas of the discharging side is so supplied via divided circulation gas introducing tubes 22 that the internal pressure of divided circulation gas hoods 21 become±0, sucked to a sintering layer to burn the coke of a raw material filling layer 6, and the raw material is sequentially sintered from the upper layer to the lower layer by burning heat. The air is sucked from the interval of the hoods to burn the coke of the layer 6, and the material is sequentially sintered from the upper layer to the lower layer by the burning heat. Thus, when the air is sucked to the sintering layer to be sintered, the burning of the coke is abruptly recovered, the sintering speed is not decelerated, and the yield is not lowered. Accordingly, the productivity can be improved.
