发明名称 MULTIPLE-TYPE CARBURETER
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable to avoid generating vibrations or the like due to combustion characteristic differences between cylinders by a method wherein throttle valves are provided respectively with passages of different sizes, in a multiple-type carbureter in which throttle valves for each carbureter are interlocked with each other. CONSTITUTION:In operation, air is sucked in through air intake passages 2a, 2b and is mixed with fuel which is supplied through main ports 6a, 6b. The resultant fuel-air mixture is introduced into scavenging chambers 4a, 4b through reed valves 3a, 3b, and the engine revolution speed is controlled by the throttle valves 10a, 10b. The valves 10a, 10b are rotated by a single shaft 11, so that the degrees of opening of the valves are equal. But at the time of idling, the amounts of air sucked in through the valves 10a, 10b are different from each other due to the opening-area difference between the through-holes 12a and 12b which are respectively provided in the valves 10a and 10b. Accordingly, in the case of an engine having differences in the length of suction or exhaust passages, the problem can be overcome, for example, by connecting the suction passage 2a having the larger through-hole opening area to a cylinder for which the passage is longer.
