PURPOSE: To enable accurate measurement of time by a method wherein virtual particles are transferred alternately between virtual space areas inside CPU and a passing time zone being set is clocked sequentially and integrated with a time for transfer between the areas used as a clocking unit. CONSTITUTION: A clocking means 5 lets 43,200 virtual particles, for instance, fall at four per second sequentially from an upper virtual space area to a lower one. A value of time clocked on the basis of a clocking time unit (one second) determined thereby is integrated sequentially by an integrating means 18 of CPU 13. The integration of a clocked time state of the means 18 is conducted for a passing time zone which begins at the date set beforehand and ends at some time point of passing in the future, and the time of the begining and that of the end are stored in a storage means 19 for the passing time zone in a memory 14. The passing time zone is set to be 1000 years, for instance, and all computers being manufactured are coordinated in this respect, the time being made common recognition among the computers in a plurality. By incorporating this function in the computers, accurate measurement of time is enabled. |
