<p>PURPOSE: To improve the adhesion of a color filter with a supporting base plate and to eliminate the unevenness of the transmissivity of respective colors RGB. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal display is provided with one side base plate 32 equipped with the color filter 12 corresponding to a display picture element, a transparent supporting body 18 and a transparent electrode 14, the other side base plate 33 equipped with a supporting body 9 and a picture element electrode 7 and liquid crystal material 17 interposed between the base plates 32 and 33. One side base plate is provided with the color filter 12 and a transparent thin film 18 different from the transparent supporting body at least at one part between the color filter and the transparent supporting body.</p> |
