PURPOSE: To make certifying operation smooth by suppressing deterioration in the picture quality of a reproduced image by increasing the image size of a face image to be displayed or decreasing the compressibility. CONSTITUTION: Face image information on a bearer is separated into compressed data of a luminance signal and compressed data of a color difference signal, which are printed as two-dimensional codes; and the two-dimensional codes are stuck on the reverse side of an ID card 21. The two-dimensional codes on the ID card are read individually by a two-dimensional code reader 31 and decoded by a two-dimensional code decoder 32 respectively. The decoded image compressed data are supplied to an image expansion part 33 and expanded, and then put together by a composition part 35, and the composite data are reconverted into RGB data to obtain color image data. The color image data are displayed on a display device 34 and certified. |
