PURPOSE: To provide a sufficiently large step-in amount more than an ordinary turning range at a brake pedal in the case of air loosing work inside a hydraulic circuit at a hydraulic pedal without making workability adverse while keeping the detection accuracy of a potentiometer as desired. CONSTITUTION: An interlock arm 27 is turned through an engage pin 31 with the step-in operation of a brake pedal 13, a potentiometer 21 is operated while being interlocked with this turn, the degree of deceleration of a motor for vehicle traveling is improved corresponding to increase in the detected value of the potentiometer 21, and braking is assisted. Concerning the interlock arm 27, its top end side is branched into two and engaged with the engage pin 31 on the side of the brake pedal 13 and at the terminal position of the movable range of the potentiometer 21 equal with the ordinary turning range of the brake pedal 13, the length of an engage pawl 27c on the downside is set so as to be disengaged from the engage pin 31. |
