PURPOSE: To produce the exact production scheduled number of articles by a package unit and to improve productivity by managing the production number of the articles by the completed amount of the package unit. CONSTITUTION: At the point of time approaching production end when a production end approaching display value reaches a predetermined value α, the new supply of an article constituting material to an article processor 16 and the new supply of a box constituting material to a box manufacturing machine 17 are made to stand by. Then, the articles present inside a line are successively carried into a box packing machine 18 and packed in boxes and packages are formed. At the point of time when no more carry-in of the articles present inside the line to the box packing machine 18 is present, a production insufficient article number equivalent value β for which a completed article number equivalent value for which an article number inside the package is multi-plied with a completed package number for an already produced portion and a present article number equivalent value inside the box packing machine are subtracted from a production scheduled article number equivalent value for which the article number inside the package is multiplied with a production scheduled package number is obtained. Then, the article constituting material and the box constituting material for an insufficient portion corresponding to the product insufficient article equivalent value β are respectively supplied again to the article processor 16 and the box manufacturing machine 17 and the production of the production scheduled number of the packages is completed. |
