<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrifier cleaner capable of eliminating the need of return to a retreat position after use, making an electrifier compact and assuring a higher cleaning effect. SOLUTION: A cleaning rod 2 is assembled with a cleaning rod guide 16, so as to be capable of reciprocating, and energized with a energization means 32 in the direction for parting from a corona discharge wire. As a result, a cleaning felt 26 is held at a corona discharge wire parting position when a cleaner is not used. At the time of using the cleaner, the rod 22 is forcibly pushed inside to keep the felt 26 in contact with the wire 10, and in this state, the rod guide 16 is made to slide on the wire 10, thereby performing a cleaning work. When the cleaner is not used, the felt 26 keeps a status of non-contact with the wire 10 and has no effect on the discharge of the wire 10. Also, the cleaner is not required to return to a retreat position. According to this construction, the cleaner can be made compact, and a pushing force for the felt 26 toward the wire 10 can be adjusted via an increase or decrease in a pressing force for the rod 22, thereby ensuring a high cleaning effect.</p> |
