PURPOSE: To provide a noise reducing device capable of reducing noise included in the reproduced sound applied with a compression expanding processing easily and effectively while exploiting the advantage of the voice encoding system of a CELP system. CONSTITUTION: When a voice reproduced signal is inputted from a voice reproducing device 3, a signal power or an SN ratio is detected by a changeover deciding part 11 and then a changeover switch 12 is changed over. Consequently, the voice reproduced signal is selectively transmitted either to a path in which a band-eliminate filter 13 whose attenuation factor is large and an amplifier filter 15 whose amplification factor is large are provided, or to a path in which a band-eliminate filter 17 whose attenuation factor is small and an amplifier filter 19 whose amplification factor is small are provided or to a path in which a filter, etc., are not provided to be applied with reducing processings corresponding to noise included in the voice reproduced signal. |
