<p>PURPOSE: To perform a color image formation with excellent fixing property, color mixing property, triboelectrification property and obtain a color image excellent in gloss, high in image density and saturation, and excellent in transparency by incorporating a specified coloring agent and color toner particles. CONSTITUTION: This color toner contains color toner particles containing at least a coloring agent and nonlinear polyester resin synthesized by using a compd. expressed by formula or its acid anhydride, and the coloring agent consists of pigment particles. The pigment particles in the color toner particles has <=0.7μm number average particle size, in which pigment particles of 0.1-0.5μm particle size are included by >=60 number % and particles of >=0.8μm particle size are included by <=10 number %. The color toner has 85-120 deg.C softening point Tm calculated from the flow tester curve. In formula, (n) is an integer of >=3, R is hydrogen atom, a C1-C18 alkyl group, C2-C18 alkenyl group or C6-C18 aryl group, and respective substituents R may be the same as or different from each other.</p> |
