Proposed is an interrogation-system transponder which, by using an antenna which is separate from the transponder element, ensures strong coupling with the electromagnetic field of the interrogator while permitting the transponder mount to have small dimensions. The transponder includes a transponder element with its own transceiver coil coupled with a coupling coil which is in turn connected to the antenna. The invention enables the range of such interrogation systems to be increased. |
