The appts. to set the axis of a tensioning roller in a loom belt drive, where the axis is mounted at one end to a moving lever arm, has one or more discs (7, 7a) between the lever arm (1) and the end side of a bush forming the axis (4). The angular setting of the axis (4) is adjusted by rotating the discs (7, 7a) which are coaxial to it (4). Their bearing surfaces (8, 9) are at an angle ( alpha ) to each other.
