Sleeve or envelope for holding CD

The compact disc sleeve has a compartment for accommodating the CD. A tightly-fitted retainer (26, 27) is provided as well as a cover (14) which hinges on the pocket (17) so that it can be folded between a position overlapping the CD held tightly in the pocket, into a position exposing the CD, and back again. A stiff section (2) with seams (7-9) holding the section together is divided into flaps for the retainer, cover pocket and cover fastener (24, 25) and in which the seams serve as hinges for the cover and the cover fastener.
