Projectile catchment device for scattered firing

The projectile catchment device (10) is located in front of the rear wall (12) of a firing range, on the floor (14) of which its stands freely on a sound-damping lining (16) comprising rubber plates. It has a catchment plate (20) which is inclined forwardly against the firing direction. In front of the plate are several parallel arranged angle supports (22). Each of the angle supports has a horizontal arm (24) located on the floor and a support arm (26) backwardly inclined in the firing direction and extending upwards from the horizontal arm. The support arm at is upper ends is connected with the catchment plate, in order to support it. The free ends of the horizontal arm are connected by screws (28) with a steel angle (30) extending crossways over the entire width of the catchment device.
