PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a driving circuit of a heat generating body and to reduce the power consumption, by providing a plurality of information reading sections shifted their positions each other toward the original carrying direction, and a plurality of recording sections shifted their positions each other toward the carrying direction of recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Picture information read at a photodetector CS using a CCD linear image sensor of a prescribed bit, in a self scanning type photodetector CS, is binary coded at a digitized circuit AD and applied to a shift register SR. The information is converted in parallel at the register SR and stored in a latch circuit L1. Data of an odd number block group of the output from the circuit L1 is stored in a memory M1 and that of an even number block group is stored in a memory M2. The data selectively read out from the memories M1, M2 are stored in a latch circuit L2 once, each output is outputted to NAND gates NG1-NG36, and transistors TP1, TP32 are selectively operated with the output of a print instruction line L10 from a control circuit CC to simplify the constitution of a heater drive circuit. |
