Each socket has a housing of insulating material with a base socket element with a number of contact bushes that receive pins (4) projecting from the main socket module (10). A centre guide pin aligns the parts for correct insertion of the pins. Interconnection between a number of sockets is provided by conductors (3) that latch into contact points in the socket base. Each conductor is associated with a specific contact point in the base.
