PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency by suspending a plurality of piano wires from the outer periphery of a stator and positioning the piano wires and the outer periphery of the stator core at an equal interval and in parallel with each other, thereby enabling to readily perform centering work accurately. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of holes 8a for an air cooler are formed on the circumference of the outer periphery of the stator frame 8 of a stator 3, and even number of piano wires 10 are depended from a centering jig 9 at the holes 8a. Then, the intervals a-c between the piano wires 10 and the outer periphery of a stator core 4 and the distance between the piano wires are measured by a micrometer, and the stator 3 is moved to regulate the distance from the outer periphery of the core 4 to the piano wires 10 at equal distance. Then, the interval (d) between the piano wires 10 and the outer periphery of the shaft 1a of the rotor 1 is measured to observe the displacement of the core 4. In this manner, an accurate centering can be performed irrespective of the position of the rotor, thereby improving the working efficiency. |
