The machine comprises a two-section connecting rod between a piston and a crankshaft. The deflection between the two connecting rod sections is controlled by control cams. Rollers(18,20) are pivot-mounted by needle bearings on pins(17,19) at the ends of right-hand and left-hand arms on the lower connecting rod section.
