PURPOSE:To improve the bending rigidity of a clutch housing comprising a clutch housing part and a shaft covering part and to reduce the cost by eliminating a welding process by forming said housing dividing it into both upper and lower pieces and connecting them to each other. CONSTITUTION:A clutch housing 10 comprises a bowl shaped clutch housing part 3 which front flange 2 is mounted on a crankcase 1 and a line shaft covering part 6 which rear flange 5 is mounted on a mission case 4. In this case, the housing 10 is divided into both upper and lower pieces 7, 8 with approximately horizontal mating surfaces. And, a flange 7a provided while extending over the upper piece 7 and a flange 8a provided in the same way over the lower piece 8 are fixed with a boss to each other, allowing said housing to be assembled. Hereby, it is possible to improve the rigidity against vertical bending load acting on the housing 10 and torsional load with respect to the cylinder core and to achieve the improvement of the fatigue reduction of the cost without a butt welding part of said the respective parts 3, 5. |
