Test body for testing co-ordinate measuring units and machine tools

Several lines and one column are equipped with scanning elements. Precisely one column and one line are equipped. The calibrated test body can be taken apart into individual segments, which can be reproduced assembled together, without a calibration of the test body being repeated. The plate segments using self-centring connecting elements including self-centring balls (3a) and corresp. spherical recesses in the segments are repeatedly reproducible. The plate segments are connected reproducible using spreadable connecting elements.
