Screened housing for HF circuits e.g. for community receivers and satellite TV receivers

A screened housing for use with high frequency circuits is constructed with four side wall panels (4,6), a cover (7) and a base (2). The covers have edge strips (8) that locate over the edges of the side walls to create a secure assembly. A number of contact points (9) are formed in the side wall and these have spring contact fingers (11) that project through holes (21) into the housing. Positioned on the inside of the side walls are metal strips (17) that act as screening elements. Each of these has a series of projecting fingers (18) that engage the base and cover elements. Contact fingers (22) are formed internally and are engaged by the edges of the circuit board within the housing.
