Combustion process control using radiation sensors
摘要
The control method involves measurement os two different spectral regions of a flame (1) by using a sensor arrangement (4) and selectively amplifying signals which are than processed using mathematical algorithms to generate control valves to regulators (8) and to monitor the combustion process. The spectral regions used are 280-350 nm i.e. UV light and/or 420-480 nm i.e. blue light and/or 560-620 nm i.e. yellow light and/or 800-5000 nm i.e. IR light. Silicon or Silicon Carbide sensors are used with filters.
