The conveyor has two or more parallel conveyor belts. These have belt, chain, or cable conveyor units, and are connected to a drive system. Every two conveyor units (2,3,4,5) are connected via at least one shaft (7,8). A drive motor (9-12) is located at one end of each shaft. All motors are coupled synchronously, and may also be used as brakes for the transporter lift movement.
