Arrangement for scattering cheese crumbs on to product belt

Cheese crumbs are scattered over products in an arrangement of a cheese grater (1) above a product belt (9), with a transport device (4) for supplying blocks (3) of cheese to the grater. Underneath the grater is a scattering belt to distribute the cheese crumbs, operating continuously or intermittently. The width over which the cheese is scattered may be controlled by ploughs positioned above the scattering belt.
